Vote! - Richardson HS Advances to Top 100

As part of State Farm's efforts to promote awareness about safe teen driving, Richardson HS produced a video to encourage students to Drive 2N2 - 2 eyes on the road, 2 hands on the wheel.

Richardson HS's video was selected as one of the Celebrate My DriveĀ® 100 Finalists from across the U.S. - the only school in the DFW metroplex to advance.

Online voting is needed to help RHS earn a $100,000 grant. Anyone can vote, once a day. Voting ends Friday, November 13 - let's get behind RHS in this effort to raise awareness about safe teen driving.

Visit celebratemydrive.com to vote for Richardson High School and the chance to help RHS earn a $100,000 grant.

Enrichment Clusters

Around RISD, elementary schools are offering first semester enrichment clusters to students K-6. This initiative allows students to select an area of personal interest, attend a series of classes allowing them to develop their knowledge, and learn about college & career possibilities within that field.

Students work to create a product, performance or service, and practicing professionals are often part of a cluster to provide students with a real world perspective about a specific position or industry.

The enrichment cluster initiative is part of RISD's efforts to promote college & career readiness, and elementary clusters are related to an industry that students can pursue interest in through Career & Technology Education courses when they progress to high school.
