Wallace Student Inspired to Make a Difference

Wallace Elementary student Bo R. recently learned about Alex Scott, a brave 8 year old girl who spent much of her short life raising money for pediatric cancer research by having lemonade stands.

Bo decided that he could also make a difference in his community. He set up a stand selling cold drinks during weekend football games at White Rock's field and raised nearly $200 in one day for Samaritan's Purse - an organization that is helping to fight Ebola in West Africa. Bo is a great example of how one person, no matter their age, can make a difference in the world.
