Outstanding Professionals
RISD employs more than 2,500 outstanding professionals to teach and serve as leaders and role models in our schools. Continuous improvement via professional development keep RISD teachers abreast of the latest research, tools and programs to help our students learn and achieve in the classroom.
The district strives to ensure that teachers are "highly qualified" under the No Child Left Behind Act.
