Videoconferencing
Videoconferencing is an exciting method of delivering instruction that allows students to . . .
- listen to and interact with real world experts,
- collaborate and communicate with people from all over the world, and
- virtually visit museums, NASA, foreign cities, and more.
Videoconferencing programs cover all grade levels and core curricular areas as well as a number of elective areas. Teachers are encouraged to schedule videoconferences for their classes, and requests are filled based on order of receipt and equipment availability.
Because videoconferencing can involve the transmission of students’ images and voices to distance learning sites, students must have a Videoconferencing Participant Waiver form signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate in these unique learning opportunities.
