THE HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH
In 2006, The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson began their partnership by renovating 11 RISD teacher lounges and providing a fresh coat of paint, new furniture and extra treats to show appreciation to our hard-working staff.

The following year, they expanded their efforts by collecting school supplies and holiday gifts for RISD students in need, and to date the Heights members have supplied more than 5,000 students with schools supplies, and more than 3,000 students with holiday gifts.

Additionally, Heights members adopted Carolyn Bukhair Elementary and provided mentors and volunteers for after-school programs, sponsored teacher appreciation events, and hosted annual parent outreach events for more than 800 families.

Their most recent gift to RISD included sprucing up, cleaning, and repainting five RISD elementary teacher lounge areas, courtyards, and landscapes in an effort to help beautify our schools. >Top
