Summertime is bond project time across RISD, with more than 300 bond-related infrastructure and equipment repairs, updates or renovations scheduled for completion before classes begin August 27.
One project involves necessary maintenance and upgrades to RISD's Communications infrastructure, which will occur Thursday, July 19 through Monday, July 23.
During this time, RISD telephone and email systems will not be functioning. In addition, most RISD websites, including the district homepage at www.risd.org and Parent Portal, will be offline.
Telephone, email and Internet service is expected to be restored by Tuesday, July 24.
