AMERICAN HONDA FINANCE CORPORATION
American Honda Finance Corporation, a five-year partner, provides an annual treat of uniforms and books for Dobie Primary students.  In addition to the grand donation, AHFC employees enjoy reading the donated books to Dobie students. >Top
 
ELCAN OPTICAL TECHNOLOGIES
ELCAN Optical Technologies, a two-year partner of the district's Math, Science, Technology elementary magnet, volunteers their time by judging the school's annual science fair.  ELCAN also provides weekly mentoring for students. They created the “Junior Engineering Lab” to provide more hands-on learning opportunities for students.  ELCAN continues to provide all materials, including math and science kits, and volunteers additional instruction to help the Junior Lab Engineering get started. >Top
YALE ELEMENTARY
RISD partners are not limited to community businesses; Yale Elementary students, parents and staff gave more than 200 toys to Skyview Elementary’s Winter Holiday Store.  In addition, Skyview's effort received additional donations from the Town Creek Homeowners Association and the Lake Highlands Women’s League. >Top
LAKE HIGHLANDS WOMEN'S LEAGUE
The Lake Highlands Women’s League, with more than 37 years of service to Lake Highlands area schools, does not just donate holiday gifts. These outstanding ladies donate their time for student mentoring, teacher assistance and ongoing scholarships for Lake Highlands senior students.  Since they began, more than a million dollars in scholarship funds have been donated. >Top
RICHARDSON HIGH SCHOOL INTERACT CLUB AND THE RICHARDSON ROTARY
The Richardson High School Interact Club, comprised of more than 350 students, and the Richardson Rotary have partnered together to organize international service projects.  Most recently, the group raised more than $1,000 for the Rotary's Wheelchair Foundation and the, Keep A Child Alive Foundation. >Top
RICHARDSON JAYCEES
The Richardson Jaycees, affiliated with the national service organization, annually sponsor Mark Twain Elementary students with winter holiday gifts.  Members of the organization, with donated Target gift certificates, accompany students on a shopping extravaganza.  To complete the effort, Jaycees also wrap the gifts. >Top
THE HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH
From holiday gifts to teacher lounge renovations, The Heights Baptist Church has donated their time, talents and funds to meet the needs of RISD schools.  This fall, they renovated teacher lounges in 11 schools, this winter, and they provided 130 families with much-appreciated Christmas gifts. >Top
THE LAKE HIGHLANDS EXCHANGE CLUB
The Lake Highlands Exchange Club's donations of scholarships and volunteer efforts to complement the Lake Highlands Women’s League have been helpful to RISD schools.  Most recently, members of the Exchange Club volunteered their time to cook hot dogs rewarding Lake Highlands Freshman Center students for achieving perfect attendance. >Top
TEXAS INSTRUMENTS
From providing mentors, to donating technology and expertise to increase hands-on learning for math classes, to field trips, to additional funds to support many individual schools instructional enrichment, Texas Instruments continues to set the standard for ongoing and comprehensive support of RISD students and staff. RISD Board member Kim Quirk, a TI Executive, provides a recent tour to RISD students. >Top
