All RISD campuses and buildings will be closed Monday, Jan. 16 to honor the contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King. School will resume at regular times on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Get out your boots and ten-gallon hats, and come on over to Berkner High School, 1600 E. Spring Valley Rd., tomorrow for a hootin’ hollerin’ good time. The three western dance troupes in Texas, the Ramblers from Berkner High School, the Wranglers from Lake Highlands High School, and the Texas A&M University Aggie Wranglers will perform for your enjoyment on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2:30 p.m. Tickets are only $2 for this afternoon of stunt-offs, jitterbug competitions, spin-offs, and dancing. >Top |

Snow Make-Up Date – Remember in December when we had to call school off due to inclement and unsafe weather? Each year, two Snow Make-Up days are built into the school calendar. This year, the December date will be made up on Friday, March 10, the day before Spring Break. Attendance is required for all staff and students. >Top |
