ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT RECORDS (AAR) Please have your parent sign the permission form to send AARs. This will make your life easier as a SENIOR. Only one signature from your parent and you can send AARs all year. Remember, official records must go from institution to institution. Return your completed form to the counseling office. The first two AARs are free after which they are $2.00 each. TOP 10% AUTOMATIC ADMISSIONS House Bill 588 passed in May, 1997, states the top 10% in each high school is automatically admitted to any public university in Texas. Yes, you still have to take the SAT or ACT and TASP and fill out the application. (There may be some remediation if your course work is not up to par.) |
