Dates: June 11 – July 6, 2012 with July 4 being a holiday
Times: 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Location: Lake Highlands Junior High School

Registration: June 7 and June 8
End of Course Exams:  July 9-13 at Lake Highlands High School

Bridging the Gap (Grade 6)
Dates: June 11 – July 29, 2012
Times: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Lunch will be served)
Location: Lake Highlands Junior High School

Registration will be through the elementary schools. See elementary counselor for details.

ALL SUMMER PROGRAM REMEDIATION CLASSES WILL BE FEE BASED.
No Payment Plans. Cash, Cashier’s Check or Money Order only.

Junior High Summer Program 2012 (Grades 7-8)
Summer Program Dates: June 11 - June 29, 2012
Times: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Lunch will be served)

Thursday, June 7 - 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Location: Lake Highlands Junior High School

Late Registration: Friday, June 8th  - 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and Monday, June 11th – 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.


$25.00 late registration fee will be added to tuition.

Out-of-district students will need their Social Security number, Report Card and the address and phone number of their home school.

$150 - 1 semester
$300 - 2 semesters
$250 - 1 semester
$500 - 2 semesters
Full tuition must be paid at time of registration. NO PAYMENT PLANS. Payments must be made by cash, cashier's check or money order only.
 
All non-RISD students must bring a current report card or transcript. If parent or legal guardian is living in RISD, proof of residency must be brought as well. Non-RISD student is defined as: student who is not attending an RISD school. This would include – home schooled, private schooled, charter schools, other Texas school districts or out of state school districts.

Semester ll exam will be on July 13 with early release at 9:00 a.m.

Wednesday, July 4 will be a school holiday with classes resuming on Thursday, July 5

June 14 - 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
June 15 - 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

June 20 – 6:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

RISD Course Offerings
Proper course selection is the student’s responsibility. Students are strongly encouraged to consult the RISD Secondary Program of Studies, their school counselor and specified teacher(s) for answers to questions concerning course selection and/or prerequisites as well as RISD graduation requirements. RISD summer program staff will be glad to assist, but cannot be responsible for student course selection.
