Times: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: Richardson West Junior High School
Registration: RISD Professional Development Center, 701 W. Belt Line Rd., Building C, Room C-101A. Times and dates will be determined.

Information will be sent home with students regarding registration and cost

9th and 10 Grade EOC Summer Program
Dates:
Session 1 – June 10-20, 2013
Session 2 – June 21 - July 3, 2013
Times: 7:30 a.m. - 2:10 p.m. (Lunch will be served)
Location: Richardson High School

Registration: will be held at home school beginning May 28. Late registration will be Saturday, June 8 at Richardson High School from 9-11.
End of Course Exams: July 8-12 at Richardson High School

Bridging the Gap (Grade 6)
Dates: June 10-July 3, 2013
Times: 7:50 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.
Location: Westwood Junior High

Registration will be through the elementary schools. See elementary counselor for details.

ALL SUMMER PROGRAM REMEDIATION CLASSES WILL BE FEE BASED. EOC SUMMER PROGRAM IS A FREE PROGRAM.
No Payment Plans. Cash, Cashier’s Check or Money Order only.

Junior High Summer Program 2013 (Grades 7-8)

Times: 7:50 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.
Location: Westwood Junior High School

SSI Summer Program 2013 (Grades 7-8)
Summer Program Dates: June 10 - July 3, 2013
Times: 7:50 a.m. - 11:50 p.m.
Location: Westwood Junior High School

STAAR Retest for 8th grade Reading and Math will be on Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26 at Westwood Junior High School.

Registration for SSI will be done on the home campus beginning May 28.
No Tuition

Bridging the Gap and Junior High Program: The 21st Century Program will be available from 8 a.m. - 2:45 p.m., with limited space available and only available to qualifying schools.

Saturday, June 8 - 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Location: Westwood Junior High School

Late Registration: Monday, June 10th - 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Tuesday, June 11th – 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

$25 late registration fee will be added to tuition.

Out-of-district students will need their Social Security number, Report Card and the address and phone number of their home school.

All non-RISD students must bring a current report card or transcript. If parent or legal guardian is living in RISD, proof of residency must be brought as well. Non-RISD student is defined as: student who is not attending an RISD school. This would include – home schooled, private schooled, charter schools, other Texas school districts or out of state school districts.

Semester l exam will be held on July 3 with early release at 9:00 a.m.

Semester ll: July 8 – July 19
Semester ll exam will be on July 19 with early release at 9:00 a.m.

Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 will be a school holidays. Classes resume on Monday, July 8

Summer Program High School Graduation for Seniors who have successfully completed the requirements for graduation may participate in the Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Berkner High School Auditorium.

RISD Course Offerings
Proper course selection is the student’s responsibility. Students are strongly encouraged to consult the RISD Secondary Program of Studies, their school counselor and specified teacher(s) for answers to questions concerning course selection and/or prerequisites as well as RISD graduation requirements. RISD summer program staff will be glad to assist, but cannot be responsible for student course selection.
