The District has information meetings each year for the magnet programs.
- The elementary magnet information meeting is held in the middle of February each year. All elementary magnets come together at one of the elementary magnet schools.
- The junior high magnet school meetings are held in the middle of November each year. The meetings are held at Richardson West Junior High Magnet School and Westwood Junior High Magnet School, one on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday. The scheduled time is usually 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. This is a hands-on event that provides 6th grade students the opportunity to experience the enhancements at each of the magnet schools.
- The Richardson High School magnet meeting is held in January each year. The meeting is held at the high school in the evening and 8th graders are invited to visit the school during the day.
