The Richardson Independent School District's transportation system provides the most economical means for serving all of the eligible bus students residing in the school district. RISD uses the bus services of Dallas County Schools.

Dallas County Schools use approximately 115 buses every day to transport RISD Kindergarten, Special Education, early childhood, and students who are eligible for RISD bus transportation.
Who is eligible for RISD bus transportation?
Bus transportation is provided to all students who live two miles or further from their home school.
Where do I find bus route information?
Bus routes and times will be posted at each school in the district before school starts in August. You can also call 469-593-5809 for daily information, routing and scheduling.
