Grade Description
K-6 Here's Looking at You - drug and violence prevention curriculum taught by elementary counselors, health and P.E. teachers.
K-6 Drug education information/prevention is integrated in the Health Curriculum.
K-6 Drug and Violence Prevention Programs delivered to large or small groups.
K-6 Anti Bullying Education - Rtime
K-6a Kids' Connection Groups, 10 week curriculum based program for students selected by faculty, facilitated by trained staff.
3-6 Peer Mediation, teams facilitated by trained staff.
5 TATU - Teaching Against Tobacco Use
6 LET'S, Drug awareness taught by the Richardson Police Department.

7-12 Campus Student Assistance Teams trained to identify problems and receive confidential referrals on students from students, parents, teachers and administrators.
7-12 Negotiate – Anti-bullying/relationship building program
7-12 TOPS (Teens Offering Peer Support) open to all students.
7-12 Hispanic TOPS for ESL students, facilitated in Spanish.
7-12 UMOJA TOPS- Celebrating cultural differences, "together in community."
7-12 Support Groups for identified needs, led by professional facilitators.
7-12 Peer Mediation Teams - Facilitated by staff trained by RISD Student Assistance Programs
10-12 Drug education information/prevention/intervention is offered in units of study in the Health curriculum.
10-12 TATU (Teaching Against Tobacco Use) selected and trained to present a two hour unit to all fifth graders.
11-12 Peer Helpers - selected by students and trained to help peers and cross teach in the Junior Highs and Elementary Schools. There is a class for Peer Helpers offering one full state credit.
